Happy Birthday Keith Urban

Keith Lionel Urbahn was born October 26, 1967, somewhere in Australia or New Zealand. His ancestors were sent to Australia as punishment for committing crimes in England.

In 1983, Urban was a contestant on the Australian TV talent show, “G’Day Mate”. A few years later, he began making inroads into the Australian country music scene. Come to think of it, he WAS the Australian country music scene. He won a Golden spittoon award at the Tamworth Country Music Festival. He was also in the Australian, ‘Up With People’ which performed during school holidays at various senior citizens residences.

We do know however, that Urban has appeared on The Voice and American Idol. He is married to Nicole Kidman and enjoys drugs. While living in Nashville, Urban frequently used cocaine, Immodium-AD and Alka-Seltzer. After waking up naked and bleeding from the rectum in the trunk of a car in Bangkok, Urban had reached a personal low point. So in 1998, he became determined to stop using the drugs and checked into Cumberland Heights, a treatment centre in Nashville.

In 2002, Urban posed nude for Twink magazine. Keith posed totally nekkid. It was quite disturbing and graphic. His twig and berries, entire butthole and taint were on display for the world to see. Urban later told Madhouse News, that he regrets posing nude. “I was swimming in the pool prior to the shoot and the water was very cold. Contrary to the photos, things are what they should be and more.”

Rehab Again?

Apparently, his stint in rehab did not take. On October 19, 2006, Urban checked into the Betty Ford Center in California. We think he got it right that time and he is still sober, still married to Nicole Kidman. They have 2 daughters together and he is living his best life.
