Vince Neil Now Wears Medical Alert Necklace After Falling On Stage
Mötley Crüe’s frontman, Vince Neil, is now flaunting a new kind of bling, a medical alert necklace. The golden haired singer who long ago inspired the Aerosmith song, “Dude Looks Like A Lady” was seen sporting the light up medical necklace after taking a nasty spill on stage. The gravity-induced mishap left Neil with more than just a bruised ego.
It all went down during a recent concert when Vince took an unexpected tumble on stage. Neil hit the deck like a sack of potatoes. The venue shook as Vince floundered around like a wounded seal. As Vince hit the floor, there was a collective gasp from the audience. He ended up wedged behind the bass drum and a guitar amp screaming “I’ve fallen, and I can’t get up!”. Eventually roadies unstuck him and helped him to his feet.
Vince Neil Medical Alert
In the aftermath of his stage tumble, Vince Neil emerged not only with a newfound respect for gravity but also with a rather fetching medical alert necklace around his neck. Gone are the days of skulls and crossbones adorning his necklaces; now, it’s all about that little red and white life saving pendant.
Neil commented, “I feared for my life. This will not and cannot happen again. At my advanced age and weight, I need to know help is always within my reach. I could have wasted away to nothing stuck behind that bass drum. From now on, I will never be without my medical alert necklace and backup wristband.
This isn’t the first time Neil has suffered a painful concert mishap. In 2021, the rocker was performing with his solo band when he fell off the front of the stage. The concert was cut short and Neil was taken to the hospital where he was reportedly diagnosed with broken ribs and a twisted colon. Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee also broke his ribs in a backstage fight with Barry Manilow.
