The Rock n Roll Hall of Fame 2023 Nominees Are Here

It’s that time of year again. The weather outside may be gray and cold, but things are about to heat up. In what some consider the most exciting day of the year, The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame announces the 2023 nominees for induction.

Madhouse Magazine is the first to break the news and share the nominees. We have a mole inside the Rock Hall that leaked the top secret nominees. We of course will share our good fortune with the world. It certainly is a first class group of nominees this year, led by Milli Vanilli and GG Allin.

Stellar Selection

Kudos to that cutting edge team of Rock n Roll aficionados over there at the Hall. They have come up with another stellar selection of nominees. Their expertise on all things Rock n Roll continues to astound. Who says Rock n Roll more than a previous inductee, Lionel Richie? We sure hope all of this year’s nominees make it into the sacred Hall but we will discuss some of the artists that we consider the strongest contenders.

Milli Vanilli was a German R&B duo consisting of Fab Morvan and Rob Pilatus. Milli Vanilli sold millions of records. However, their success quickly turned to infamy when it was uncovered that Rob & Fab did not sing on the album or Live. The duo was ran out of town on a rail and Rob Pilatus died at the age of 32 of a tragic lip synch accident. Fab is working as a towel boy at an Amsterdam Bath House, Pure Rock n Roll.

GG Allin

GG Allin was a punk musician best known for his controversial live performances, which often featured self-mutilation, defecating on stage, and assaulting audience members, for which he was arrested and imprisoned on multiple occasions. Snooki called him “the most spectacular degenerate in rock n’ roll history”. He’s no Missy Elliott but he has a chance.

Since Jann Wenner has been sent away to a farm in Upstate NY to live out his final days, Jethro Tull, MC5, and other bands have finally made the nomination. It is rumored that Wenner black balled Jethro Tull and others for calling him a chubby little tosser. Others to watch out for in this batch of nominees are The Proclaimers and Chumbawamba. They are the odds on favorites in Vegas. So without further ado, here are the elite nominees for 2023.
