The Police & Sting’s Music Pulled From Radio Stations

In the wake of the recent protests, multiple radio stations across the world are choosing to remove the music of ‘The Police’ & ‘Sting’ from rotation.

“Eff The Police” said Program Director Shawn Roy at station WKRP in Portland Oregon. “I will not have any Police music playing at my station. This is an outrage! Whoever heard of a band of Police officers making music anyway!? And what is Sting!? Is that like SWAT!?”

When it was explained to Mr. Roy that ‘The Police’, were a band popular during the 1980’s and 90’s, featuring vocalist and bass player, ’Sting’, he replied “Oh, wait what? Well anyway i don’t care, I am in the middle of a frenzy, they are still pulled from my station.”

Sting says “WTF!?”

Streaming services have also removed ‘The Police’ music under the new “Media Hysteria” policy. This policy is described as, “anything we feel like hating or censoring for whatever reason we want. It need not make any sense and it is totally random and subjective.”

Sting tweeted, “The band ‘The Police’ is not now, nor has it ever been a law enforcement organization. We are a ‘New Wave’ band from England that incorporated Punk, Reggae, elements of Jazz, Pop and Rock and made some damn catchy songs. We sold over 75 million records, we are one of the biggest selling groups of all time. WTF is wrong with you people!?”
