Terry Reid was given the nickname of "Superlungs"! What more do you need to know!?

Terry Reid is the most underrated singer of all time. I demand that this changes. I demand that Terry gets the recognition he deserves. I demand reparations.

The greatest rock n roll story never told begins in England. In 1968, Terry was the talk of the town. He was known as the best singer around and his career was on the rise. He was going to be the next big thing. His band was opening for The Stones and Cream. Terry Reid was asked to be the lead singer of Led Zeppelin by Jimmy Page. Terry declined because he was going on tour with The Stones, but recommended a young singer named Robert Plant and a young drummer named John Bonham.

Terry has been called the greatest rock singer of all time, by names such as Aretha Franklin, Mick Jagger, Graham Nash and Robert Plant himself.

In the day and age where talentless "singers" are rewarded with boatloads of money, it is refreshing to hear people with true god given talent. Terry Reid was way ahead of his time.
Terry Reid is currently on tour and the opening act is none other than Deborah Bonham. It's like a family reunion of sorts, since Deborah is the sister of Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham.
I am a huge fan of Deborah Bonham. I first came across Deborah last year when she opened for Jeff Beck. She has a booming powerful voice, but can also sing like an Angel. Deborah is a soulful, bluesy, rock n roll singer who has attracted a lot of attention lately from the masters of Rock n Roll. Deborah's albums have garnered rave reviews and she has been embraced with standing ovations wherever she goes. It was a real treat to see her up close and personal. She is an impressive artist that sings from the heart. She blew me away tonight.
Terry Reid put on an epic show tonight. His guitar playing is superb and his songs are incredible. This man can sing anything. His style runs the gamut of Jazz, Rock, Soul, Funk, and even a little Country, but all Terry Reid.

Terry's influence on The Black Crowes and Chris Robinson is undeniable. The same with Steve Marriott, Humble Pie and so many more. I am very upset that it has taken me this long to see Terry Reid in concert.

Terry is quite funny and charming. A wonderful showman. Terry had the look, the voice, the guitar, the contacts, the songs, everything one would need to be a huge rock star. I am declaring shenanigans and I am demanding Terry Reid now gets the recognition he deserves.

It all starts with you. Get out there and support live music. Support these 2 incredible artists, get out there and buy their albums, CD's and go see them when they come to your town. You will not be disappointed. It was a pleasure to witness extraordinary talent up close and personal. Thank You Terry and Deborah.
