Snoop Dogg Stops Smoking: Mexican Economy Crashes
Known weed connoisseur and rapper Snoop Dogg sent shockwaves across the world as he announced the unthinkable. Yes, he is giving up smoking. Markets scrambled and thousands were put out of work in Mexico and other countries as the news hit. Investors are hoping that it is some sort of sick prank as Snoop was rather vague.
Snoop Dogg whose real name is Calvin Broadus made the following statement on social media: “After much consideration & conversation with my family, I’ve decided to give up smoke. Please respect my privacy at this time.” It is rumored that Snoop made the statement after waking up nude in the “It’s a Small World” exhibit at Disneyland.
Snoop Dogg Stops Smoking
Just as previous crashes were named Black Tuesday etc, today will be forever commemorated as Snoop Thursday. Snoop has been forever linked to the Cannabis trade. He rose in popularityafter his guest appearances on Dr. Dre’s 1992 album, “The Chronic” which featured a marijuana leaf on the cover.
Some say Snoop along with Cheech & Chong and Willie Nelson are the ambassadors of weed. “They did more for the product than anyone else” said lifetime smoke Cory Muller. “Without these trendsetters we would all be sneaking around in alleys for a nickel bag. However now it is a legal multi billion dollar business”.
Snoop smoked so much that he had to hire his own personal roller. Yes, Do you believe that A grown man would sit in his house all day being paid a salary to roll joints for the star. It is alleged that Snoop was personally responsible for firing up to ten pounds per day. That kind of weight is going to be hard to recover from.
Willie Nelson
Willie Nelson was shocked and dismayed by the news. “I don’t like quitters” said Willie. “So he woke up nude in Disneyland. Who hasn’t? One time I woke up nude in a lion’s cage. I have been smoking since World War II and I still don’t know anyone that ever died from reefer. A bale once fell on me and hurt my toe. Did you know that I once ran into a burning house to save my weed. The wife and kids were on their own but I had to save my weed.”
As previously mentioned, Cannabis is a multi billion dollar industry and Mexico’s main export. It is 90% of their GDP. Not to mention all of the factories, mules, smugglers and all of the auxiliary businesses. 3 out of 4 Mexicans are employed in the business. It is quite a blow to the country’s economy from which it may not recover. Many executives were seen standing on window ledges waiting to hear if Snoop was serious or joking.
