Snooki to Play Amy Winehouse in New Biopic

A new biopic about the life and times of singer Amy Winehouse – is set to begin production in early 2021.

The movie will be directed by Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino and will star Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi. Sorrentino took online directing lessons while in prison. “I studied a lot of youtubes videos and watched a lot of movies. I’m ready bro.”

Snooki of course, is the reality star from ‘The Jersey Shore’ known for her drunken shenanigans and exposing her hoo ha. 

Snooki will do all her own singing in the film. Not many people know that Snooki is a trained singer with a seven octave range. “She sings like an Angel, bro” said fellow Jersey Shore housemate, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro. 

The Winehouse family will act as executive producers. Proceeds from the film will benefit Amy Winehouse’s father, Mitch Winehouse. Mitch Winehouse said the family had been repeatedly approached regarding a biopic but previously felt “the time was not right”. “The time is right now” said Mitch, “because I am running out of money and have a lot of bills and a very extravagant lifestyle.”

Mitch continued, “What we want is somebody to portray Amy in the way that she was … the funny, brilliant, charming person she was. And that is why we chose Snooki. Who better than Snooki to embody grace, charm and talent!? Sure some have mentioned Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande, and they are fine, but they don’t have the ‘je ne sais quoi’ of a Snooki.”
