Rolling Stone Mag Names “YMCA” Best Rock Song Ever in New Poll

Rolling Stone Magazine does it again. The ridiculous corporate rag has named “YMCA” by The Village People the greatest rock n roll song ever recorded. As you can imagine, Music fans all over the world are outraged and breaking the internet with hilarious comments.

The rockers over at Rolling Stone magazine compiled an updated list of the best rock songs ever and it is leaving a lot of people scratching their heads. The staff and musical experts over at RS put their heads together and came up with what some people are calling the worst list ever compiled.

“YMCA” Best Rock Song

In addition to “YMCA” in the number 1 spot, The Village People also had “Macho Man” at number 9. “Stairway to Heaven” dropped to #11 and “Hotel California” by the Eagles came in at #12. There isn’t even one actual Rock n Roll song in the top 10. The top 10 includes pop acts such as Justin Bieber, Bon Jovi, Taylor Swift and PSY.

Rolling Stone musicologist Roger Thoreson commented, “Those other rock songs had their time. It is now time we give credit to some of the other great rock songs. Sure I guess Stairway to Heaven is an OK song but it has been number 1 for 50 years. It’s Over Johnny, Do you ever see anyone dancing to Stairway at a wedding? The answer is no you do not. Well, every wedding, bar mitzvah and party will have every dummy there up and dancing to YMCA.”

Thoreson continued, “What could be more Rock n Roll than a song that discusses male A$$ play in a dirty public place over a happy dance beat. For years Grandma’s have been mindlessly dancing and doing the stupid hand gestures to this disgusting song. They had no idea what the subject matter of the song was about. That sir is Rock n Roll to me.”

When asked for a comment, Ozzy Osbourne took a copy of a Rolling Stone magazine and ripped it up. He then dropped his pants and proceeded to wipe his butt with the magazine. “You see that” said Ozzy. “That is exactly what Rolling Stone Mag is good for.”
