A fight involving rock stars and fans broke out at the Rock n Roll Fantasy camp on Sunday night, continuing an ugly string of violence at fantasy camps.

The Don Kirshner Rock n Roll Fantasy Camp located in Death Valley, California, hosts regular sessions where music fans get to jam with their heroes. Their most recent session included 50 campers and many special musical camp counselors. The stars featured at this camp included, Sebastian Bach, Lita Ford, Kip Winger’s cousin Claude, Alice Cooper’s plumber and a man that attended grade school with Paul Stanley.

How Much?

Fans pay $20,000 USD to play rock star for a week. It is an all inclusive adventure where failed musicians, accountants and lawyers get to live out Rock n Roll fantasies. Campers are split into groups and rehearse with their band led by a special camp counselor. On the final night, each camper band performs for their friends and family at the famous Barker Ranch bonfire.

Things got off to a rocky start on day one when the air conditioning broke down and the toilets started overflowing. “I paid $20K for this week and I expected an all inclusive adventure” said camper Jon Vann. “Instead I am sleeping in a tent, using a Porta-Potty and eating junk food. It is 110 degrees in the desert and the rehearsal studios have no A/C. I was melting in there. This place blows.”

Campers were agitated all week and tempers reached a boiling point by the time the big show came around on the final night of camp. When the camp band named $hit Row led by Sebastian Bach hit the stage all hell broke loose. The band started playing Sebastian’s one hit song “18 and Life” when the drummer dropped a stick. Bach was mad and glared at the man. Then the guitarist hit a wrong note and Sebastian bashed him with the mic stand. At that point, the campers, counselors, has beens and special guests fell about the place.

El Kabong

One camper smashed Bach over the head with a guitar as another jumped off his stack of Marshall amplifiers directly onto Bach’s throat. Lita Ford was repeatedly kneeing one camper in the nuts while chewing on another camper’s ear. The stage was destroyed and part of the camp was engulfed in flames. 17 campers, 5 counselors and Sebastian Bach were injured and taken to a local hospital.

“This was the worst week of my life” said camper Randy Cook. “I paid $20K to jam with Alice Cooper, not his plumber! Then I pay an additional $1200 for the recording package and they have me sweeping up and unclogging toilets at a professional recording studio. I hate this place.”
