Robert Plant Cuts Long Locks, Debuts New Hipster Look

Rocker Robert Plant showed off his fabulous new look today and the internet went wild. The Led Zeppelin singer cut off his famous flowing locks, put on a tuxedo and shared his new hipster look to the world.

Plant, 74, known as the Golden God of Rock n Roll for his long golden mane, shocked the world with his new look. As lead singer of the wildly popular band, Led Zeppelin, Plant drove the girls crazy with his voice, hair and skin tight jeans.

Fans had mixed reactions to the new look. Longtime fan Lori Baker commented, “OMG, you look amazing Robert. I have loved you since I was 15. Over the years I rubbed myself raw thinking about you. Now I have a whole new bank of thoughts. Thank You, you have awakened feelings within me that I thought were dead since Led Zep broke up. I am tingling all over.”

Rick Singer tweeted, “I cried when I saw this. I literally broke down and sobbed with real tears. Robert how could you do this to me? I stuck with you through the solo years, I bought all of your CD’s with Alison Krauss and now you turn hipster on me? I literally feel like I was gut punched.”

Peaky Fookin Blinders

“I felt it was time for a change” said Plant. “My hair has been long for almost 60 years, why not try something different. I have been watching Peaky Blinders lately and I really dig that look. Then I was walking through Brooklyn, NY and I see all the young people have the same style. So I went to me barber and told him make me look like that. Make me look like a Peaky Fookin’ Blinder Mate. He threw in a little color, got rid of the gray and gave me one of those fancy undercut, buzz things.”

A barbershop employee, Mike Nello scooped up the golden curls off the floor and kept them for himself. He is now selling Robert’s hair for $1000 per lock. “Hey a guy has to make a buck” said Nello. “I am not a fan of Rock n Roll, I like Boy bands like New Kids on the Block, N Sync, stuff like that. However, with all the fuss in the shop I knew he was someone famous. I have a whole bag full of the stuff now. With the money I make from the hair, I can quit my job as mop boy at the peep show. Things are looking up.”

It seems as though Robert may have started a new craze. Plant posed for the cover and an exclusive layout in ‘Hipster Doofus’ magazine which will be on newsstands next month. Men all over the world are running to their local fancy Men’s barber shop and requesting the ‘Robert Plant’ look.
