Remembering Leonard Cohen

Leonard Norman Cohen was born September 21, 1934 somewhere in Canada. Not much is known about Cohen. He may be a spy or CIA operative, but we will never know. His upbringing seems completely normal and boring.

In the 1950’s and 60’s he wrote poetry, novels and was involved with music. He wrote songs for Judy Collins and of course wrote “Hallelujah”. You know the song from “Shrek”. His first album was released in 1967, “The Songs of Leonard Cohen”.

Apparently Cohen was a ladies man and had lots of relationships, not sure if he was ever married, but he has some kids. We heard that he was involved with Janis Joplin, Patti Smith and Cardi B.

Honestly, at the time of this writing, we don’t know any Leonard Cohen songs. Of course “Hallelujah”, but that’s only because of “Shrek”. We are now going to take this time to honor Mr. Cohen and start listening to his music. We will peruse all his albums and thoroughly immerse ourselves in his songs. We think you should do the same.
