Peter Frampton Smashes Guitar Over Photographers Head!
Guitarist Peter Frampton who is normally a peaceful soul, was pushed over the edge by an obnoxious photographer.
The incident took place at Frampton’s concert at Madison Square Garden in NYC. The event allowed pictures to be taken for the first 3 songs but flash photography was strictly forbidden.
As the concert began, a dim witted photographer in the front row was flashing his camera lights directly in Frampton’s eyes. Frampton politely asked the man to not use his flash. The clueless paparazzi continued snapping away, oblivious to the musicians request. After the second song, the flashing continued, causing Frampton to make a second request to the dizzy shutterbug.
When the third request was ignored, a frazzled Frampton picked up his acoustic guitar and smashed it over the photogs head while yelling ‘El Kabong’. Dazed, confused and bloodied, the man stumbled back to his seat where he remained for the rest of the show. Lesson learned the hard way. Frampton 1, Photographer 0 !
