Peter Frampton Reveals Embarrassing Story Behind “I’m In You”
Musician Peter Frampton reveals the embarrassing story behind his 1977 hit song “I’m In You”. Little did the world know that behind this chart-topping song lay an embarrassing story that would make even the coolest rockstar blush. During an interview with renowned rock journalist Claude Balzac, Frampton broke down and detailed the sad shocking story. Peter often wept while revealing the dirty details of his decades old secret.
In 1976, Frampton was riding high on the success of his smash album, “Frampton Comes Alive”. The album was the best seller of 1976 beating out Fleetwood Mac. Peter was feeling the pressure to prove his success was not a fluke.
Peter Frampton Embarrassing Story
It was at this point Frampton began writing songs for his follow up album. Peter’s girlfriend at the time was a big legged 60 year old German woman name Greta. She stood 6 foot 4 and 230 pounds of solid muscle. She smoked like a chimney, cursed like a sailor and had an enormous mole on her face. Peter was in love.
One night during their sexy time, Greta asked Peter the worst thing a man can hear while beginning the throes of passion. As Peter was entering into the promised land, Greta asked, is it in yet? Frampton was crushed as he thought he was putting in the work. Peter wept as he mumbled, “I’m in you”.
Peter trembled as he continued recalling the sordid details of the embarrassing story. “I admit that the turtle returned to his shell. Greta was not one to put up with nonsense and she threw me around like a rag doll. I am not sure what happened but all I remember was Greta laughing and saying, now I’m in you.”
I’m In You, You’re In Me
“My confidence was shaken and I felt emasculated. However I did get a pretty good song out of it. That is where the song came from, “I’m In You, You’re in me”. I was cursed with a small willy and a big legged German woman violated me. Everyone thinks it’s a nice little love song when in reality it is a dark, dark tale of woe.”
Peter’s career was never the same after that. The I’m In You album sold well but it was mostly purchased by fans who would have bought anything following Frampton Comes Alive. “I would have bought Frampton farting into a mason jar” said fan Robert Van Landingham. “Following that live album, I would have bought anything, but I was very disappointed in this album. Now after learning the subject matter of the song I want to vomit and throw the album in the trash.”
Frampton went on to star in what many say is the worst movie ever made, “Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” in 1978. The movie also featured The Bee Gees, George Burns, Shirley Hemphill, Anson Williams and the guy who played Squiggy on Laverne and Shirley. Frampton was a broken man at this point and eventually was seen busking for change in the tube.
