Ozzy Osbourne Is New Co-Host on The Great British Bake Off
The Great British Bake Off is getting a brand new host. Following the departure of actor, comedian and all around weirdo Matt Lucas, the baking competition show announced that British TV personality Alison Hammond would join Noel Fielding as co-host. However, today the show announced that rocker Ozzy Osbourne would be joining as the third co-host. A co-co-host if you will.
Yes, you read that correctly – the Prince of Darkness himself is trading in his bat-biting antics for a spatula and an apron. Ozzy will be a co-host as well as a judge, joining regular long time judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith. Ozzy will make witty repartee, interact with the contestants and judge the baked goods. It is said that he will also perform stunts. He is scheduled to juggle knives, breathe fire and ride a unicycle. We just hope there are plenty of fire extinguishers on set.
Ozzy Vs Great British Bake Off
It all started when Ozzy, known for his iconic voice and unforgettable stage presence, decided to take a step back from the world of rock and roll. “I’ve bitten the heads off more bats than I can count. It’s about time I tried something a bit more… chewy,” he mumbled in his signature slurred speech. His decision to explore the world of baking left his fans gobsmacked. But it seems Ozzy is more than ready to knead some dough and rise to the occasion.
Now, picture Ozzy Osbourne, with his wild hair and incomprehensible accent, trying to explain the intricacies of a French pastry to a group of bewildered bakers. The show’s producers have had to add subtitles to Ozzy’s dialogue, and even then, it’s a challenge to decipher his words. “We’ve had to hire a translator just to understand him,” said one producer. “It’s like he’s speaking in tongues, but with a British accent.”
During the press conference to announce the exciting news, Ozzy stuck his hands into a cake and smeared it all over his face. He then smeared it on Prue’s glasses and started a huge food fight. The cast, crew and reporters were all covered with cake, chocolate and icing. Prue fainted and Paul Hollywood was not happy that his hair was musssed. Noel and Alison loved it.
So, whether you’re a metalhead or a master baker, you won’t want to miss Ozzy Osbourne’s hilarious and unforgettable journey as co-host and judge of The Great British Bake Off. Tune in to see the Prince of Darkness attempt to say master baker without getting arrested.
