Governor Andrew Cuomo made a shocking announcement today, that due to New York’s current fiscal woes, he is selling Long Island to musician Billy Joel.

The cash strapped Governor is running a fire sale to recoup some of the money the state has laid out due to the current pandemic. Staten Island is currently available on ‘Ebay’. The high bid is $750.

“Hey $1Million is a good price for all of Long Island” said Billy Joel “Of course that means I have to take places like Hempstead and Roosevelt, but I will just turn them into parking lots or something for my motorcycles.”

Cuomo added “that was part of my plan, Billy wanted to buy just The Hamptons, but I said no way, you have to take the whole thing or nothing. He now wants to buy Madison Square Garden so maybe I will create another package deal and make him take Staten Island if he wants MSG. I will sell him the subway system too if he takes that douche DeBlasio and that wife of his, off my hands.”
