Nikki Sixx Stalker Was Actually Mick Mars Disguised As Woman
Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx was pranked by his former band mate, Mick Mars. Mars started the elaborate prank after being fired from the band. Mick began a letter writing campaign that increased in severity. The prank finally ended when authorities chased a woman off of Sixx’s property. She eluded police but then a search of Mars home uncovered women’s clothing and the typewriter that created all of the letters.
Mars and Sixx were band mates in Motley Crue for some forty years before Mars was unceremoniously dumped in 2022. This left a bad taste in Mars mouth and he vowed revenge. There was a lot of jabs at each other in the press but it appears Mick got the last laugh with a pretty funny prank.
Nikki Sixx vs Mick Mars
Mars created a character with an entire backstory. Mick decided the deranged woman would be from Tennessee and she would call herself Hillary Sixx. He even enlisted SIxx’s ex girlfriend Kat Von D in on the prank. “Kat gave me some of Nikki’s personal items that I sent to him to really freak him out. A toothbrush, a lock of hair really got him pooping his pants.”
Sixx detailed his harrowing tale on social media. “Like many other public figures, myself and my family were harassed and threatened by a stalker. A deranged woman from Tennessee, who I have never met or seen before, targeted me. Her harassment went on for a long time and got progressively more scary. She sent me human excrement in a box and sent books on how to play the bass to my house. The human excrement turned out it was mine. Authorities sent it to the lab and it was 100% mine. How did she get my pooh?”
Mars decided to take the prank to a whole new level. He donned a disguise as a woman and went to Sixx’s house. “I must say I make a very pretty lady” laughed Mars. Sixx was in his family room watching Psycho on TV when he saw Mars peering in the window. He passed out from fear as Mick laughed hysterically.
God Save The Queen
Authorities were watching the house and gave chase. Mick hopped over a barb wire fence and swam across a river to escape. The jig was up however as they followed his footprints and found the Queen Elizabeth costume and the exact typewriter used to write the letters. Police found the whole thing funny and let Mick off with a stern warning.
At this point Mick gave up the prank but enlisted his good friend, drummer Carmine Appice to carry on the prank. Carmine had a very public feud with Sixx last year so he was up for the task. Appice created his own character and Sixx was beside himself. He took to social media again, as one does: “Now another weirdo from a different part of the country started doing the same thing, going so far as to travel to my house and throw a dead skunk in my chimney.”
