Neil Young & Daryl Hannah Announce Birth of Twins
Neil Young and Daryl Hannah announced the arrival of their twin girls today. “My heart grew two sizes this weekend as Daryl and I welcomed our daughters, Banjo and Cricket into the world,” Young wrote on social media. “Our home is full of love with our daughters, 5 pot bellied pigs, 3 Pygmy Goats and our beloved hedgehog, ‘Dinsdale’. We couldn’t be happier.”
The happy couple first announced their pregnancy on social media by posting “We Are Prego” while holding up a jar of Prego spaghetti sauce. The internet broke as fans and critics were abuzz with shock and excitement. Young made it clear that even though he is in his 70s and Hannah is in her 60s, there was no turkey baster involved. Wink, Wink, nudge, nudge.

Giving birth at age 61, may be rare, but just last year a 74 year old woman in India gave birth to twins. “I have the Uterus of a 20 year old and the eggs of a teenager” said Hannah. “There was no IVF or anything like that, me and Neil did it the old fashioned way by humping like jackrabbits.”
The birth was completely natural as well. Hannah gave birth in a hospital with the help of two midwifes and a shaman. Daryl squatted in the birthing pool and shot the twins out one after the other in less than 10 minutes. Neil and Daryl later made tacos out of the placenta and sent them to David Crosby.

Fans however, seemed to think the timeline did not add up. Daniel Gillard wrote, “It seems like you made the pregnancy announcement like two years ago. You have the gestation period of a sperm whale. What’s the story sister girl?” Hannah replied, “Duh, It’s twins, two babies, so of course it will take longer than one baby. It’s science nimrod, do the math.”
Young vowed to be a hands on father at age 75. “I plan on changing diapers, having tea parties, playing with Barbies and watching Bugs Bunny cartoons together. Do kids still watch Bugs Bunny? I look forward to walking them down the aisle at their weddings. For our first dance, the band can play ‘Old Man’. I think I will be an awesome grandfather someday also.”

Twins are always delivered early, not late, medical fact, it’s been what a couple years since they set with the sauce jar, so either she lot the first time or there’s something a little hinky about this whole thing, I’m happy that she has the kids she wanted, but be honest about it
