Nancy Pelosi Crashes Met Gala Wearing Carol Burnett Gone With The Wind Dress
Nancy Pelosi crashed the Met Gala on Monday evening with a message for Americans: “Let Them Eat Cake.” Indeed She wowed the crowd as she modeled the green velvet curtain dress made famous in The Carol Burnett “GWTW” skit.
Pelosi was not invited to the Gala but showed up anyway and barged past security. “I’m Nancy Pelosi dammit, get outta my way.” Witnesses stated that Pelosi reeked of booze and was slurring her words. Security guard Joe Christie told Madhouse News, “She kneed me in the groin and pushed past me. She reeked of Ben Gay, Denture Grip and Peppermint Schnapps. I attempted to apprehend her but she got away. She’s pretty fast for an old bag.”

Nancy was wearing the original Bob Mackie gown that was designed for a skit on the Carol Burnett show. In the show that aired in 1976, Burnett satirized the movie Gone With The Wind. Carol played Starlett O’Hara and hilariously recreated the dress scene.
Originally, In the movie, it was after the war and Scarlett’s only option for a beautiful dress was to make one out of the fancy velvet curtains. In the skit, Carol Burnetts dress included the curtain rod and all. Hilarity ensued. The Burnett dress is currently on display at The Smithsonian.
Night at the Museum
Coincidentally, The Smithsonian reported a late night break in. Burglars rappelled down from the skylight by ropes, like a scene out of Mission Impossible. Apparently Jerry Nadler distracted guards by faking an epileptic fit. Nadler pretended to have a seizure while sitting in Archie Bunker’s chair, which is also on display at the museum. Nancy, a skilled spelunker then scaled down the ropes bypassing the alarm and scooped up the dress.
Evidently, After seeing all the attention that AOC was getting with her ‘Tax The Rich’ dress, Nancy took things into her own hands. Not to be out done, she scribbled on her own dress, “Let Them Eat Cake”. Nancy was discovered at the end of the night passed out in the rose bushes.
