My 1985 Encounter with Michael Jackson Was a Lie
Keith Hollis, now a grown man in his 40’s, was devastated to learn that his favorite childhood memory of meeting Michael Jackson, turned out to be a lie.
Hollis stated, “Basically It was around 1985, I was around 9 years old and a big Michael Jackson fan. Me and my friend Wendell practiced moon walking every day. I lived in Queens, New York and as part of some sort of outreach program run by Al Sharpton, I was able to meet Michael Jackson.”
My Encounter With Michael Jackson
“My Mom paid Sharpton $100, and he setup the encounter. I remember it like it was yesterday, I was so excited. I could not sleep the night before. Meeting Michael Jackson was one of the greatest moments in my life. Growing up, I told everyone about my meeting, I was very proud of it.”
Hollis was devastated when he recently came across a box of old photos and found the photo of his meeting with ‘Michael Jackson’. “Who the f*ck is that guy!?” yelled Hollis. “That ain’t Michael Jackson, thats some creepy imitation. I was hoodwinked, bamboozled and lied to. My whole childhood is a lie now.”
Bubbles
“Come to think of it now, it did seem odd that this guy took me back to a cheap motel and gave me wine. We wrestled in our underpants and ate pizza just like the real deal, but now I am pretty sure Bubbles was just a little person wearing a ‘Planet of The Apes’ mask. And I doubt that the elderly Chinese woman cleaning the toilet was actually Janet Jackson.”
“I should have known something was amiss when Al Sharpton borrowed $5 from me. That guy is shady AF. I have to find my Prince pictures now. Sharpton set that up as well.”
