Man Emerges From Corn Maze After 17 Years!

Claude Von Bello has emerged after 17 years of being lost in the 63-acre corn maze at Cool Patch Pumpkins in Dixon, California.

Mr. Von Bello entered the corn maze as a 13 year old boy on October 29, 2000. “I started into the maze at 8PM with 2 friends, and after an hour, I had lost both of them. I just kept going deeper and deeper into the maze and eventually lost sight of all humans. I was completely alone and yelling for help. Finally around 2AM, I said to myself that I better hunker down for the night and in the morning someone will find me.

Well no one found me in the morning and then night after night I roamed in a circle looking for a way out. I was completely trapped. I lived off of corn and my own urine. I eventually dug a well and built a nice little shelter for myself. The weeks, turned into years, and I made friends with a mouse named Thomas, and made a nice life for myself.”

Corn Maze Tragedy

Von Bello was finally rescued yesterday by 9 year old Jimmy Daniels of Rancho Cucamonga. “I followed the smell of popcorn and I found this guy living in the corn maze” said little Jimmy. “I guided him right out to safety. It only took 5 minutes, he was right around the corner from the exit, I really think this guy is a moron being stuck there all these years so close to the exit.”

Von Bello a huge sports fan, and music fan, said he can’t wait to see whats new with his hero Bruce Jenner, and to listen to all the great music released since the year 2000. We didn’t have the heart to tell him.
