‘Lightyear’ Movie Banned in Middle East For Depicting Buzz as Transgender

Critics say Disney/Pixar is traveling to insanity and beyond with their new film ‘Lightyear’. The new children’s movie, a spinoff of the classic ‘Toy Story’ franchise, includes a transitioning Buzz.

In the original Toy Story movies, Buzz Lightyear was a lovable space ranger. An action hero and leading man, voiced by Tim Allen. The new Buzz is voiced by Chris Evans or Chris Pratt or Chris Hemwood, maybe Chris Rock, we don’t know but pretty sure it is some guy named Chris.

Banned

Due to the controversial content, Lightyear has been banned in various Middle East countries, including Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. Russia, China and Kansas have also banned the movie. Disney is hanging tough though and estimating that the new movie should make them at least $500.

A Pixar spokesperson, Mark Gombertz told Madhouse News, “This is ridiculous. We cut the graphic penetration scenes, what more do they want? We cut the S&M scenes, the hot tub scenes, the orgy’s, but that’s it, we are leaving the transgender and gay stuff. And I am not cutting out the Uranus jokes either. The Middle East can kiss my arse.”

Mrs. Nesbitt

The ‘Lightyear’ movie explores Buzz’s personal life and explains how in the original movie, Buzz first came to embrace his true identity. It was during the tea party scene when the little girl dressed me up in lady’s clothes and called me Mrs. Nesbitt. I realized that I felt more comfortable as Mrs. Nesbitt than as Buzz Lightyear. It was empowering and freeing. I am Mrs. Nesbitt. P.S. Why do you think they call him Woody?

Patricia Heaton, who played Deborah Romano on Everybody Loves Raymond was not happy with the change and tweeted, ”Saw the trailer for Buzz Lightyear and all I can say is Disney/Pixar made a HUGE mistake in not casting my pal Tim Allen in the role that he originated, the role that he owns. Tim IS Buzz! Why would they completely castrate this iconic, beloved character?” Wait until Heaton sees the full movie and realizes how far the castration goes. We predict she will not be happy.
