Leslie West: I Still Have Mud in My Crack from Woodstock!
Guitarist Leslie West told Madhouse News, that he still has mud lodged in bad places, 50 years after the original Woodstock Festival.
West, Guitarist of the band Mountain, performed during the prime time slot of Saturday 9PM. Mountain had a killer set and everyone was impressed.
The original Woodstock Festival, held in Bethel, NY Aug 15, 16, & 17, 1969 turned into a huge mudhole after multiple thunderstorms soaked the site. Event goers decided to make the best of it and enjoy the mud. They built a giant mud slide. West, a big man, weighing in at 300 lbs at the time, decided to join in on the fun and spent a few hours sliding down the hill.
“I don’t know what I was thinking” said West. “I was whacked out of my mind, but still, A man of my considerable girth should not be sliding down mud hills. The mud lodged so far up my crack, I was 310 lbs by the time I was done. 10 lbs of mud jammed into my small intestine. It wasn’t fun.”
West, continued “I have been pulling mud out of my crack, for 50 years now. Here I will show you. Woah, wait! That ain’t mud.”
The interview was immediately ended at that point as reporters ran screaming out of the room.
