Jussie Smollett To Play Michael Jackson In New Biopic

Troubled actor Jussie Smollett will portray Michael Jackson in an upcoming biopic. The film is titled “Michael” and will be produced by Michael Jackson’s estate. Jackson’s estate is run by his brother Tito and Michaels’s chimpanzee friend, Bubbles. Quentin Tarantino will be directing the biopic which will be released later this year.

The casting announcements have been breaking the internet recently. First it was announced that Michael’s nephew Jaafar Jackson will portray the teen Michael and Emmanuel Lewis will play the young King of Pop. Jussie will star as the older and troubled Michael, up to the time of his death. Kieran Culkin will star as his brother, Macaulay Culkin.

Other exciting news is that Bubbles the Chimp’s actual nephew Marcel will portray the young Bubbles in the movie. Bubbles and Jackson were estranged for a long time but made amends prior to Jackson’s untimely death. Accusations of assault were made and Bubbles claimed that he was entitled to royalties from Thriller. Bubbles was named co-executor of Jackson’s estate along with Tito Jackson.

It may seem strange but 50 something year old actor Emmanuel Lewis has been cast as the pre teen Michael Jackson. Lewis starred as Webster in the 1980s and was good friends with Jackson. They often rode Llamas together at Wonderland and even attended awards shows together. Lewis is 4’ 3” tall which is the exact size Michael was during The Jackson 5 heyday of the late 1960s to the early 1970s. Lewis has been growing his hair out and has a groovy ‘fro happening.

Hoax

Jussie of course is best known for his ridiculous hoax he staged back in 2019. Coincidentally, or not, the Nigerian brothers that helped him plan the hoax are also in the biopic. Abimbola and Olabinjo Osundairo will play Tito and Jermaine Jackson respectively. No one remembers the other Jackson brothers so they will be played by extras. Margot Robbie will star as Janet and Latoya Jackson.

Michael Jackson is one of the best selling artist of all time selling over 400 billion records worldwide. During his four decade career, his contributions to music, dance and fashio made him a global figure in pop culture. He popularized street dance moves such as the moonwalk, the robot and the twist. The King of Pop is regarded as one of the most significant cultural figures of our time and his life will be reduced to a crappy film starring a ridiculous human.
