John Oates Reforms Hall & Oates with Arsenio Hall

John Oates Reforms Hall & Oates with Arsenio Hall

John Oates has teamed up with Arsenio Hall. In a surprise move that has fans both laughing and scratching their heads, John Oates has announced a reformation of the iconic Hall & Oates duo—but this time with a twist. Since Oates and former partner Daryl Hall are on the outs, John has teamed up with none other than talk show legend Arsenio Hall, leading to the birth of the new and improved “Hall & Oates.”

In recent months Hall and Oates have been battling in the tabloids and social media. Just in case you don’t know, Daryl Hall is the tall blonde one and John Oates is the shorter Baba Booey looking guy with the mustache. Hall sued Oates and then even went as far as to put a restraining order on him. Daryl then announced he was replacing John with a ventriloquist dummy.

Hall revealed his new singing partner on an episode of his television show, “Live From Daryl’s House”. Daryl explained the dummy is named Oates McDoucheface. He is a dapper-looking dummy with a toothy grin, and a perfectly coiffed mustache. Hall had fans in stitches with the hysterical ventriloquist act.

It looks like Oates has the last laugh now when he trademarked the band name Hall & Oates and reformed with Arsenio Hall. “It is genius” said Oates. “Daryl has nothing to say now, I am going on the road with Arsenio and do all of our old songs. We will incorporate the dog pound, the woof, woof, woof hand thing and we are even going to wear Zoot Suits. Arsenio is going back to his triangle head flat top and I am breaking out the 80s stache.”

Arsenio Hall, known for his groundbreaking late-night show and his infectious enthusiasm, couldn’t contain his excitement. “I’ve always wanted to be in a band, and who better to join forces with than a legend like John Oates? I bet y’all didn’t know that I am a classically trained singer. I have an 8 octave range and sung with the Boys Choir of Harlem. Basically, I sing like an angel. My voice was so high that many thought I was a Eunuch.”

Hall & Oates first met at a cockfight in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The pair fled into the woods when the police raided the barn. They spent the night hiding in the woods together and formed a band the next day. The rest is history. They went on to sell 40 billion records, making them the best selling music duo in history. They had six No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 and 34 chart hits in total.
