Jimmy Page Releases New Line of Double Neck Cigarettes
Guitarist Jimmy Page has announced he is releasing a new line of double neck cigarettes and smoking paraphernalia.
Page, known for his signature Gibson EDS-1275 double neck guitar, felt the world was in need of such a tool for smoking as well. The EDS-1275 was used most notably during live performances of “Stairway to Heaven”. The double neck removed the need to switch guitars mid-song. At the beginning of “Stairway to Heaven”, he used the bottom 6-string neck for the intro and first verse, then switched to the top 12-string neck, then to the 6-string neck for the extended guitar solo, and back to the 12-string for the final chorus.
“I have released an entire line of ‘Dazed & Confused’ brand smoking products “ gushed Page. The line includes the double neck ‘Zoso’ smoke holder. It allows the smoker to have a cigar on top and cigarette on the bottom. Or for the stoners of the world, you can put a joint in the top and a crack pipe on the bottom. It can be configured anyway you like.”
“The product I am most psyched about” yelled Page, “is the actual double neck cigarette. It is my line of cigarettes, with one filter but 2 cigarettes. You get twice the nicotine and tar in half the time. It really is genius. One cigarette and you are hooked.”
Page hooked up with Tommy Chong for the new venture, which also sells black light posters, lava lamps, munchies and rolling papers. The duo is working on creating a line of ‘Dazed & Confused’ brand weed next year as well.
“I have stopped all drugs, drinking and smoking” said Page, “but that doesn’t mean others can’t have some fun. And it certainly doesn’t mean I can’t make a buck off of it and give the people what they want.”
