Jim Morrison’s Link To Organized Crime
Despite a 10-year prison sentence for a crime he swears he didn’t commit, former Mob Associate and record executive, Luther B Haze did his time and never talked. He’s talking to Madhouse now.
Luther told Madhouse News that Jim Morrison led a crew of notorious gangsters and killers. “Jim ran his crime empire from a barstool at The Morrison Hotel in downtown L.A.” explained Hayes.
Hayes continued, “Jim had a nice little crew there. There was ‘Richie The Hammer’, a little guy, but tough as nails. He had 29 known hits. Tony Meroni aka ‘Stabby’, he left the Gambino crime family in NYC, because they wanted him to use guns. ‘One Eyed Jack’, Mike ‘The Ice Pick’ Padron, Mickey ‘One Ball’ Maccioli and last but not least, Tommy Ciccone aka ‘The Button Man’. Jim gave the orders and Tommy made it happen. He made 48 known enemies disappear, but he never hurt nobody that was innocent.”
The “‘Hard Rock Crew”, as they were known, were the inspiration for the Doors song “Five to One” and were responsible for all Drugs, Gambling, Prostitution and Book Making on the entire West Coast. If anyone got in Jim’s way they’d mysteriously disappear. The crew is said to have been responsible for Janis Joplin getting whacked after she hit Jim with a Southern Comfort bottle. Morrison also let his crew loose on Ed Sullivan once, they beat Sullivan with glass jars, sharp objects and steel-tipped boots, causing bodily harm.
The Crew turned on Morrison when he left the life and went to Paris. They were afraid Morrison would rat on them, so they conspired along with Don Kirshner to have Jim whacked. Mike ‘The Ice Pick’ Padron & Mickey ‘One Ball’ Maccioli, were seen in the lobby of Jim’s Hotel in Paris the night he died.
