David Van Cortlandt Crosby was born August 14, 1941 in Los Angeles California.

His parents were Aliph Van Cortlandt Whitehead (a descendant of the prominent Van Cortlandt family) and Floyd Crosby, an Academy Award-winning cinematographer and descendant of the Van Rensselaer family. See, you never knew David was royalty!

Crosby may be a PITA, but he could sing like an angel. David was in The Byrds and then Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. He drove all his band members crazy but the man is a legend. He is one of the few who performed at Monterey Pop, Woodstock & Altamont.

Crosby has had a successful solo career, is a cannabis connoisseur and entrepreneur. He donates sperm, is a sailor, actor, liver transplant recipient, spent time in jail and has like 27 kids, that he knows of.

Crosby was once anally gored during the running of the bulls in Pamplona, Spain. David was smacking and tormenting the bull and managed to outrun the animal for several minutes. Crosby who is incredibly fast and spry for his age, was leading the pack when he slipped running down an alleyway leading to the bullring. This is when Crosby ended up on the wrong end of the bulls horns. While Crosby was sprawled on the floor, the furious beast saw his chance and dug into Crosby’s rectum with reckless abandonment.
