Happy Birthday Beck

Bek David Campbell was born July 8, 1970 in Los Angeles, California. His mother was former Andy Warhol cohort Bibbe Hansen and his father was Luther Campbell, heir to the Campbell soup fortune. 

Beck has 2 sisters, Neve and Naomi and one brother, Luther. He is not related to Jeff Beck or David Beckham or Glen Campbell. 

Very little else is known about Beck and he apparently has led a pretty drama free boring life. He had a big hit song with “Loser” and critics and hipsters really like him. 

There is one funny story surrounding Beck. Apparently he is a big fan of Orson Welles. He purchased a hand-painted and signed fish bowl by Welles via auction. He just so happened to leave it on his desk overnight, and during a meeting Tuesday morning noticed something odd: the fishbowl had been washed and wiped nearly clean — most of the images were gone and the signature were gone. As Beck explained, the cleaning lady decided to go above-and-beyond her duties and clean the dirty fishbowl. Only, the bowl was meant to stay that way.
