Grandma Faints & Breaks Hip After Learning True Meaning of YMCA Lyrics
Tillie Rubinstein 76, of Hewlett NY, was shocked and saddened to learn the true meaning of her favorite song, “YMCA”
Tillie’s grand daughter, Alexis, explained to her Grandma what the lyrics were about. “It was quite the conversation” said Alexis, “Did you ever try to explain to an elderly woman that her fav song about the Young Men’s Christian Association is actually extolling the virtues of young gay men cruising and hooking up?”
“I danced to that song at my daughters wedding, my grandson’s bar mitzvah and countless other parties and events. I even remember hearing it at a temple dance”, exclaimed Tillie. “Those Village People seem like such nice boys.”
“I just thought it was a nice song about young men enjoying themselves at the YMCA. Maybe swimming or doing crafts. But when my Grand daughter Alexis told me what the song was about, I passed out and broke my hip. Anal and Oral Sex! Oh My”, cried Tillie. “Why, I Never.”
“I think I will pick a nicer song to dance to next time. Maybe that song ‘Turning Japanese’ – thats a nice fun song to dance to”. Alexis just rolled her eyes.
Poor Tillie …. she’s so naive
