Goldie Hawn & Kurt Russell Choose Sides in Hall vs Oates Debate

Hollywood icons Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell chose sides in the great Hall vs Oates debate. The couple were seen strolling down Rodeo Drive in California. They were doing a little shopping and holding hands. Goldie was wearing a Daryl Hall T-Shirt and Kurt donned his John Oates shirt. 

It’s nice to see that the great Hall vs Oates debate did not cause a wedge between the loving couple. For years fans have been taking sides and choosing team Oates or team Hall. It has broken up a lot of families and ended decades long friendships. 

Goldie Hawn Loves Kurt Russell

Not many people know that Kurt and Goldie fell head over heels in love on their first date. Picture this: It was the ’80s, a time when big hair, neon colors, and catchy tunes ruled the airwaves. Goldie Hawn, the vivacious blonde beauty, was a fan of the iconic duo Hall & Oates. Kurt Russell, the rugged and charismatic leading man, had an inexplicable affinity for John Oates’ style. Little did they know that these musical preferences would set the stage for their fateful encounter.

Hawn showed up to the date wearing a bedazzled Daryl Hall Tee and Russell in his sleeveless John Oates shirt. As Kurt strolled into the event, feeling confident and rockstar-esque in his John Oates shirt, his eyes locked with Goldie across the room. Goldie and Kurt have been together ever since. “It’s a decades long debate” said Russell. “Some people are team Elvis, some are Beatles fans. Some like Simon, others prefer Garfunkel. All through time fans have argued over who they prefer. Whether it is Mick or Keith or John vs. Paul or even Mantle vs Mays. But it is this fun rivalry that brings us together. Hall & Oates brought me and Goldie together. It doesn’t matter if I prefer the mustache god known as Oates and Goldie prefers the golden haired dream boat known as Hall. Single they aren’t that great but together they are Hall & Oates. Single, well Goldie and I are both pretty awesome single but we are even more awesome together as Hawn and Russell.”
