Glenn Danzig & David Lee Roth Announce New Tiger, Magic & Music Vegas Show

Danzig & Roth invade Vegas. Misfits frontman Glenn Danzig and Van Halen singer David Lee Roth have joined forces in a surprising new venture. The duo describe their new act as Siegfried and Roy from Hell.

The new show will be a mix of glitz, charm, music and white tiger magic. Danzig & Roth will begin a 6 month residency at the Mirage Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. The same location where Siegfried and Roy performed their act for 13 years.

“We have some big shoes to fill” said Roth “Or should I say some big Kimonos. Sig & Roy, as I like to call them, had the most visited show in Vegas for many years. We took some aspects of their show and added a rock n roll vibe to it.”

Glenn Danzig told Madhouse News, “I got the idea when I was watching that Tiger King documentary on TV. I was always a big fan of Siegfried and Roy and I saw their show many times. I will let you in on a little secret. Carole ‘Effin” Baskin may be part of the show as well.”

“The show will consist of 63 tigers, 16 lions, 3 Komodo Dragons, and 2 disappearing elephants.” said Roth. “There will be chimps on roller skates smoking cigars, and lots of bare boobies. I am gong to make a lot of clothes disappear. Sammy Hagar will wrestle a bear, and Michael Anthony will be riding a unicycle while wearing a tutu. It’s going to be epic.”

Danzig and Roth have been practicing animal training and magic 12 hours a day for over a year. They have become one with the animals and live full time at the Siegfried & Roy Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat at the Mirage hotel in Vegas. The tiger that mauled Roy Horn, Mantecore , has passed away but 2 of his offspring are in the show. The Vegas residency begins September 1st.
