Brooks was recently criticized by fans for calling his base “A**Holes”. Garth is opening a new bar in Nashville called the “Ramrod Inn”. He stated that he will be serving all kinds of beer including Bud Light and that anyone who doesn’t like it can go to Kid Rock’s bar down the street. He then joked, “How is hemorrhoid cream and a cowboy hat similar? They both go on A$$holes”. Brooks then undid his giant belt buckle and asked a reporter if she wanted to meet Girth Brooks.

After the new song was dropped, reaction was swift and venomous. Fans of the pudgy country star burned albums, and peed on posters. Brooks stated that he does not care about losing fans and is happy to gain a new base of fans. However, Mulvaney could not offer support to Garth. Mulvaney commented, “I will be honest, I listened to some of his music and it really sucks. Then someone showed me this Chris Gaines alter ego stuff. What is wrong with this guy, I think it’s time for a wellness check, who does that?”

Cher

Cher reacted to the song by posting a vomit emoji. “All I can say is Thank God Sonny is dead. Listening to this would have killed him for sure.” When reached for comment Bono of U2 replied, “You know that I am not Sonny Bono right? My name is Bono, not Sonny Bono. The guy who recorded that song with Cher died many years ago after skiing into a tree.”

Musician Dee Snider loved the tune and wrote an online review for Rolling Stone magazine. “The chemistry between these two talented artists is palpable. Garth’s charm and stage presence blend perfectly with Dylan’s infectious enthusiasm, creating an amusing dynamic that keeps listeners both entertained and slightly perplexed. Their performance is a delightful mix of country twang and pop sensibility that will have you tapping your feet and questioning your sanity at the same time.”
