Fan Finds Led Zeppelin in Shed
A man from Knebworth, England made a shocking discovery recently, when he found the remaining members of Led Zeppelin in his tool shed.
The shed owner, Arthur ‘2 Sheds’ Jackson and his friends, Nigel Stanley and Levi Kirkland, planned to do work on a windmill on Tuesday, when the faint sounds of a guitar caught their attention.
“It was coming from the old tool shed” said Mr. Jackson. “We went to investigate and the closer we got, the louder the sound was. We were all shocked when we opened the shed and we see behind some old tools and paint cans, it’s Led Zeppelin. The 3 original Led Zeppelin members (Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, and John Paul Jones) are in my shed doing an acoustic jam, I think it was ‘Going to California’ from ‘IV’.”
Mr. Jackson owns a 100 acre farm in Knebworth and is known by the nickname ‘2 Sheds’. “I only own the one shed” said Jackson, “but at one time I did mention to friends that I was thinking of purchasing a second shed. Ever since then, the nickname kind of stuck.”
“I recall now, back in 1979, right after the famous Led Zeppelin concert in Knebworth, I agreed to store the band, I put them in the back of the tool shed and kind of forgot about them. Life happened, but I do recall one of them escaping.”
The farmer and his friends eventually relocated the band using long sticks and trash cans, grabbing them by the back of their heads. Jackson said they were moved ‘quite a ways’ away to keep them far from the livestock.
