Dweezil Officially Changes Name to ‘Frank Zappa’!
In another effort to destroy the legacy of his genius father, and circumvent the Zappa family legal battles, Dweezil Zappa has officially changed his name to Frank Zappa!
Dweezil Zappa’s registered birth name is actually Ian Donald Calvin Euclid Zappa. At age five Dweezil insisted that they change his legal name to Dweezil. He is the second born of the four Zappa children. His father Frank Zappa of course was a brilliant musician, guitarist, lyricist and composer who was way ahead of his time.
Dweezil Zappa
Dweezil is a very talented guitarist who can mimic anyone else’s style. However he never was able to come out of the shadow of his father and forge out his own career. He dabbled in acting and music but never was successful. He resigned himself to living off the Zappa family teat.
For years, Dweezil battled with the Zappa Family Trust, over the use of Frank’s image and music. The Zappa Family Trust is run by Frank and Gail Zappa’s blood sucking talentless children Ahmet Zappa and Diva Zappa. The dimwitted Dweezil and his lazy sister Moon Zappa were given smaller portions of the ZFT following Gail’s death and are not involved in the day-to-day operations of the estate. They just want to partake in the money generated.
Dweezil has been performing under the name Zappa Plays Zappa. The ZFT sued him over trademark violation. To avoid potential legal action, Dweezil decided to change the name of his tour to 50 Years of Frank: Dweezil Zappa Plays Whatever the F@%k He Wants – The Cease and Desist Tour. The ZFT sued him again. Then the ZFT sued Dweezil for forcing them to sue him.
Fu Manchu
In a brilliant legal maneuver, Dweezil has officially changed his name to Frank Zappa. He also plans on growing a mustache exactly like his father’s signature fu manchu look. “If that sonofabitch grows a mustache like dad, I will shave it off while he’s sleeping!” said Ahmet Zappa. “I run this family now. Maybe Dweezil should have let me play with his evel knievel stunt cycle when we were kids, and we wouldn’t be going through these problems now. All he had to do was be nice to me.” Stay tuned for more drama.
