The human skin used to make the clothing is farmed from many different sources. Byrne has a partnership with some foreign countries as well. The governments of these countries export the human flesh for profit. Once in a while Byrne will exhume corpses from nearby graveyards. Byrne has been known to personally hunt and harvest flesh from the homeless when a special order comes in,
David Byrne is the founding member, singer, songwriter, and guitarist of the band ‘The Talking Heads’. The Talking Heads released their signature song ‘Psycho Killer’ in 1977. Previously Byrne joked that he would like to make clothing out of some of his former band mates.
As has been noted, Byrne is a huge fan of Ed Gein, who invented the human skin suit. Edward Theodore “Ed” Gein was one of America’s most infamous psychos. Movies like Psycho, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Forrest Gump and others were inspired by the life of this love able man.
Byrne commented, “This clothing line makes the perfect gift for all occasions. Mom would love a snazzy jacket, Dad a tie and junior a romper. Obviously they are not made from real human flesh, or are they.” All of a sudden David laughed maniacally and ran off.
