Dave Mustaine Shows Off New Metallica Tattoo

The internet went crazy after Megadeth guitarist Dave Mustaine showed off his new embarrassing Metallica tattoo. The tattoo is poorly done and misspelled. Mustaine is vague about whether or not the tattoo is ironic and sarcastic or a huge mistake in judgement, or both. 

Nothing Else Mattress

The new tattoo appears to be a drunken attempt to write, “Metallica Nothing Else Matters”. This is the title of a Metallica song. However, the tattoo looks like a 5 year old inmate did it. It is poorly done and chock full o spelling mistakes.  The final result is, “Melattica Nothing Else Mattress”. Metallica is spelled incorrectly and matters is spelled as mattress.

Given the history of Mustaine and Metallica, the consensus is that the tattoo is a dig at Dave’s former bandmates. Mustaine was a member of Metallica in the early days of the band. He was thrown out of the band and had to endure a 4 day bus ride home from New York City to California. 

“How do you get kicked out of a band for being a wild drunk when that very same band would give itself the nickname Alcoholica?” said Mustaine. “I admit I was a violent drunk and may have punched James and Lars in the face a few times. But then again how could you not punch Lars in the face?”

No Regerts

The fact that Mustaine captioned the post of his new tattoo with “No Regerts” seems like another nod that this was a dig at Metallica. Lars replied “Nailed It” while James posted, “Speaking of mattresses, yo mama so fat she uses a mattress for a tampon. BTW Dave, I would have been yo Daddy but my dog beat me under the fence.”

Oh snap it looks like shots have been fired and the Metal Wars are back on. For years Metallica and Megadeth coexisted peacefully in the Metal world, but things could get ugly. It seems like a new feud is in the works. Stay tuned.
