Daryl Hall Files Lawsuit Against Axl Rose For Sexual Assault

Daryl Hall has accused Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose of a brutal attack more than 30 years ago. Hall filed the lawsuit Wednesday on the eve of the Adult Survivors Act expiring. The lawsuit filed in Manhattan Supreme Court accuses Rose of groping him in a New York City hotel room in February 1989 after inviting Hall back when they met at a nightclub.

“Rose used his fame, status, and power as a celebrity and performer in the music industry to gain access to manipulate, control, and violently assault Hall,” reads Hall’s suit. The claims were brought under the Adult Survivors Act — which lifted the statute of limitations so millions of drunken party girls of the 1970s & 80s can cash in and make some money or get revenge on celebrities. The act expires at midnight.

Hall recalled the harrowing event, “I met Axl backstage and then we went to a club. He invited me and Oates back to the hotel to continue the party.” The complaint then alleges that Rose then tied a bleeding Hall’s hands behind his back with pantyhose and appeared to be in a “sexual, volatile rage” as he attacked Hall, “forcibly penetrating” his anus without consent. All while Oates and Rose’s assistant Jason Wisch watched and laughed.

Axl Rose commented on the matter, “Wait what, who? Daryl Hall? He’s a dude, sure he had nice hair but I don’t swing that way no matter what. I have never been that drunk or high in my life to make a mistake like that. If I was gonna do that it would have been with Vince Neil. He looks way more like a chick.”

When reached for comment Daryl Hall acted as if he did not know what we were talking about. “Get your facts straight you weirdos” screamed Hall as he hung up. We then noticed that other outlets were reporting slightly different stories. At this point we decided to fact check and vet the story further.

*Note – after this article went to print we realized that our reporters were working on 2 different stories and the notes got mixed up. So apparently Daryl Hall is not suing Axl Rose for sexual assault. Apparently Ethel Kennedy is suing Axl Rose and Daryl Hall is suing John Oates. We are not clear now if both cases are sexual in nature or not. There is also word on the street that a restraining order is involved. Stay tuned.
