Billy Idol Rushed to ER After Lip Gets Stuck in Permanent Sneer

Rocker Billy Idol was rushed to the Emergency Room after his lip got stuck into a permanent sneer. Idol is famous for his curled lip and has been sneering since the 1980s. Apparently he sneered one time too many.

Idol was preparing for his upcoming tour and practicing his lip curl in the mirror. “I have a routine that before a tour, I do 100 lip ups per night. The next thing I knew I heard a snap like a rubber band” said Billy.  “My face was locked. I could not move my lip up or down. It was horribly disfigured, I looked like a monster.”

“The first thing I thought was Oh my god, my Mum was right. She always told me that one day my face was going to freeze like that If I keep making those silly faces. My livelihood depends on this lip sneer and my family was too busy laughing at me so I called 911. They had a hard time understanding me as I was drooling. It’s hard to speak with your lip frozen in a sneer.”

Rushed to ER

Idol was transported to the Emergency Room by ambulance. Doctors worked tirelessly on him but were unable to unlock the lip. “We gave him muscle relaxers, sedatives and even tried massage and hot compresses but nothing worked” said Dr Nathanial Fontana. 

Lip Gets Stuck in Permanent Sneer

Dr. Fontana continued, “We ran a series of tests and it is nothing serious. It is not Bells Palsy or stroke or anything. Mr. Idol is in good health, his face just locked up. I am inclined to believe that just as his Mum warned him, he sneered one too many times. Maybe with time it will relax a bit. In the mean time we can make Mr. Idol as comfortable as possible and he can live a normal life.”

“There are communities where Mr. Idol can live with others like himself. Staten Island, NY has a large community of disfigured and he will fit right in. Other than that maybe he can join the circus ordo they still have freak shows?” When asked for comment Billy Idol replied “Ubbi  Dubbi Rubbi Bubba. Bubbi Rubbi Dubbi Ubba.”
