Alice Cooper released his first album 50 years ago! He has had a groundbreaking, one of a kind, career. He has influenced many, but no one has done it better than Alice, and no one will.
What a concert! It’s good to see that in such jaded times, where people are no longer shocked, Alice still provides some serious shock value.
The stage and set was an old castle right out of a Universal Horror Movie. Alice opened the show with “Feed My Frankenstein” and tore through his unbelievable catalog of songs. My favorite part of the night, was, “Steven”. Cooper came out in a straitjacket. The song was a mini broadway show or terrifying opera. The theatrics continued as the band went into the classic “Dead Babies,”! Cooper clutched a baby doll that he then tried to behead with a cleaver. A sexy nurse and giant headed baby goons stopped him in the nick of time and led him to a guillotine where they beheaded him. Now that’s entertainment.
Alice has the best band around. Hurricane Nita Strauss on Guitar, who is a stunning virtuoso. Ryan Roxie on Guitar, Chuck Garric on Bass, Tommy Henriksen on Guitar and Glen Sobel on Drums. All masters of their instrument and they look cool AF while doing it! No one does it better! Go See Alice Cooper, and in the meantime, enjoy this wonderful photo gallery!
